The Saint-Merri apartment will seduce those who are looking for a charming place
ideally located in the historic Paris.
Located in a pedestrian street, it is on the first European floor with elevator access (second floor American).
Security is assured by 2 door codes
Please keep in mind that this is a small apartment.
It has been carefully designed and consists of 2 rooms.The bedroom (not totally closed) has a double bed and gives onto a small inner courtyard so quietness is absolute.
In the living area you will find a couch to relax in after a day of exploring (or can be converted into a comfortable bed if you need 2 separate beds) and everything you need to feel at home:
Internet high speed Wi-Fi, Television with International news channels.
The kitchenette is fully stocked : microwave, a ceramic hob, tea pot, coffee maker, boiler, toaster... kitchen ustensiles...
Dining table.
There are groceries stores just at the corner (one is organic) and tons of little restaurants and café's at the doorstep...
Many museums and Notre-Dame cathedral are withing walking distance...
The neighbourhood is very nice and lively, street performers, souvenir shops, near the Seine River for a romantic stroll..
The Marais is also one of the safest area in Paris.

A few words from past guests ...
Absolutely perfect. I stayed in the St Merri apartment for a few days in December 2023 and highly recommend it to solo travellers and couples who are looking for a small (but well thought out) apartment which is close to all you might want to see and do in Paris. The apartment building itself is very secure and close to many of the important tourist sights and lots and lots of restaurants and cafes. Metro line 1 and buses are a few minutes walk. Although the apartment building is in a side street close to the Pompidou Centre, and the apartment itself is at the front of the building, it is very quiet in both in the bedroom and the living/dining area, and I was never bothered by any street or traffic noise. The apartment is on the first European floor and there is a lift, which is handy for luggage, but apart from that I took the stairs all the time. Everything you might need is provided, and there is a very good supermarket just around the corner (Franprix in rue de la verrerie) which is open 7.30 am to 10 pm. The bed is comfortable, there is good hanging space, ample hot water and good internet. I have visited Paris many times over the past 10 years to see family and have stayed in many, many apartments. I can truthfully say this is the best in terms of location, amenities and comfort and I would definitely stay here again. Additionally, Laurence, the owner, is a delight to deal with - responds to messages and emails promptly and does everything she can to make your stay perfect.

We really enjoyed staying at the St Merri apartment not knowing Paris very well. It turns out that this is in a fantastic location near the station of Chatelet-LesHalles so very easy to get to from CDG airport. There are plenty restaurants around locally and loads within a 10 minutes walk. The Seine is a two minute walk away, The Louvre about 15 minutes walk and so many museums, churches and sights to see. Also if you need to get further afield there are a couple of Metro stations nearby. The apartment is compact and bijou! It was perfect for me and my wife.

As we only had three days to explore Paris, we were looking for an apartment that was near transportation with easy access to the sights. We loved the location of this apartment!
There was a grocery store and Metro station around the corner. We enjoyed our walk to the bakery and coffee shop for breakfast. The owner Laurence (Lolotte is her nickname) met us at the apartment, explaining the amenities and helping us get on our way to the sights. We enjoyed using the Batobus to get around the city which was only a short wall away.
We would definitely stay here again!

I lived in Paris for 5 years and Le Marais is definitely one of the best area in Paris as it is in the center of Paris, has an easy access to everywhere, and it is lively and safe. Lolotte’s place and hospitality made my stay perfect: she met me on the day of my arrival, communication was very easy, the apartment is beautiful and clean, and everything was provided. Since I stayed a little bit more than a week during my business trip to Paris, I cooked my own meals and it was very convenient to do so at Lolotte’s place, as there are a lot of cooking utensils and she shares her spices and tea and coffee. There is no designated office table but I could work in the apartment without any problems. I totally recommend her apartment. If you feel like the apartment is small, I can tell you this: this is already quite a big studio to Paris’ standard
and enjoy a glimpse of Parisian’s life here!
